Cigarette butts have an impact on our environment that is often overlooked.

Many smokers are in the habit of throwing their cigarette butts on the ground. But cigarette butts are waste and should be disposed of in an ashtray or rubbish bin once they have been extinguished.

Because cigarette filters are made of plastic, they break down into microplastic particles that remain in the environment.
Let’s work together to tackle this form of littering.
